Two questions come up on almost every first call: how long will it take, and what will it cost. Both have shorter answers than people expect.
The date is decided by the content, not the build
A Starter site is scoped to go live within a week of the content being ready. That last clause is the whole story. Building the pages is the predictable part; what moves the date is how quickly the words and the photos are settled.
You do not need to have any of that ready before you call. We write the first draft from the conversation and tell you which images are worth getting. What you do need is to read the draft and say yes or no to it — that is the step that decides whether the site launches this week or next.
What we need from you
- Twenty minutes on a call: what the business does, who you want walking in, and what is in the way.
- Whatever photos and text you already have. Rough is fine.
- Access to your domain, if you already own one.
Everything else we write, and you approve it before it goes live.
Why the price is fixed
You are buying a finished site, not a number of hours. Scope and a number go in writing after the first call, and if the scope changes later, the number is re-quoted before the work happens — not after.
That means a build that takes longer than we expected is our problem, not your invoice. It also means reviewing what we built and asking for changes is part of the build, not an extra line: one round of changes is in every package.
What happens after launch
Small changes are included for the first year, and hosting where the package lists it. Bigger changes are quoted the same way the build was.
The site is yours from the start: domain, hosting and analytics are set up in your own accounts and handed over, so if you ever want to take it elsewhere, nothing has to be untangled first.
Where the numbers are
Two packages have fixed prices and the third is agreed on a call. They are on the pricing page, with what each one includes — and they will be the same numbers on the call, because that is what a fixed price means.
